Cut Crystal

Past Class

Have you ever wanted to make a kaleidoscope quilt but thought it was too difficult? Then come learn how to use Deb Tucker’s Studio 180 newest tool - the Wedge Star. The Wedge Star™ tool is used to create three simple block types that, when combined, give the illusion of curves connecting stars and star points. The intricate design looks difficult, but is easy for all since, like all Studio 180 Design techniques, oversizing and trimming are part of the construction process. Do not hesitate to give this pattern a try. You’ll amaze yourself and others with the results.

The project requires the Wedge Star and Tucker Trimmer Tools (purchased separately), and finishes at 74" by 74". A list of required supplies (fabric, notions) will be sent with your registration confirmation.

This class is taught by a Certified Studio 180 Design Instructor, and will be presented in two 3-hour sessions, on Thursday, April 15th and Thursday, April 29th, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Using the link below will register you for both sessions.
Recommended student skill level: Intermediate
