Fringe Benefits: A Textured Embroidery Bag Class

Upcoming Class

Fringe embroidery is one of those techniques that looks fancy but is surprisingly approachable. In this class, students will create a custom fabric bag while learning how to stitch, release, and finish a fringe embroidery design. The class sample is a playful spider treat bag, but students may choose from many fringe designs to make their project fit their own style.

Make it spooky, sweet, floral, seasonal, child-friendly, or practical. This same bag can become a Halloween treat bag, grocery bag, cereal/snack bag, library tote, or gift bag. Students will leave with a better understanding of stabilizer, hooping, design placement, thread choices, and the special finishing steps that bring fringe embroidery to life.

The registration fee does not include the cost of supplies. Click on the link below to view the supply list for this class.
