In this class you will learn how to use a rotary cutter, rotary cutting mat, and acrylic rulers. Learn to "square up" up your fabric so pieces are cut straight. You will acquire tips for consistent, accurate measuring.
With these rotary cutting skills we will then cut a basic nine-patch block with half-square triangles, and combine them into an 18-inch block. You will learn tips and techniques for sewing an accurate seam allowance, pressing correctly, pinning, and making your puzzle pieces fit together perfectly.
This class is appropriate for beginners with some sewing machine experience. A required supply list will be sent with your registration confirmation.
