Sewing Circle Tote

Past Class

There is no doubt the Sewing Circle Tote Bag, designed by Elizabeth Hartman, can carry everything you need for any sewing class or retreat!

This awesome, sturdy bag (13" tall x 19-1/2" wide x 9" deep) has four outside pockets, three interior zipper pockets and five elastic/gathered pouches so you can keep your favorites and essentials organized and securely in place. Elizabeth thought of everything - there are even two lengths of handles for easy carrying!

We will work on this tote bag in two classes. First, you will learn how to construct the bag parts, including the exterior pockets, the bag exterior, zipper pockets, gathered pouches and the handles. You will repeat these same steps at home. At the second session, we will put together the finished parts and assemble the bag.

Skill Level: Intermediate
You need to be able to confidently cut some of the materials in advance of the first class session.

The two class dates are Saturday, April 7, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday, April 28, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Even though only the first date is shown below, signing up registers you for both sessions.

This class will be held on the second floor of The Old Country Store. Sewing machines are available for your use.

A required supply list (fabric, notions, and instructions for downloading Elizabeth's pattern) will be sent with your registration confirmation.
