Taylor’s quilting journey began when she was 16 years old and attended a quilt camp through her local quilt guild. Life got busy when she went to college, so she had a long break. Everything changed after she married her biggest supporter—her husband. He encouraged her to fully embrace her passion for quilting, and she dove in headfirst. Since then, quilting has become so much more than a hobby. Taylor’s favorite part of the process is making all the units for a block and then arranging the finished blocks on her design wall. Watching her vision come to life is the most exciting and rewarding feeling. Taylor says, “Where I lived previously, it was difficult to find a quilt shop that offered the support and community I find at the Old Country Store. It’s where I find inspiration, encouragement, and a community that shares my passion for quilting.” When Taylor is not in her sewing room, she loves spending time with her husband, her family, and their three fur babies. She is grateful to share her quilting journey, and hopes her creations inspire others to find joy in every stitch.
